Pipex removed ‘unlimited’ tag from Pipex Max
Pipex recently revamped its packages and introduced a new package for heavy users. Ever since, Pipex was acquired by the Italian based ISP, Tiscali there had been expectations among Pipex customers that the takeover would mean some kind of change in the product line. The announcement of changes in the features in Pipex packages stand proof for it.
Earlier, Pipex Max was offering unlimited usage allowance which was now removed and 30 GB monthly cap has been introduced. All the old packages had options to bundle the broadband package with call plans like Pipex Hometime and Anytime. However, Pipex now offers free evening and weekend calls with all its packages. If you wish, you have the option to include anytime calls for just 5£, which can bring smile on Pipex customers.
The new Pipex offer – Pipex Pro comes with 100 GB download limit and it seems Pipex targets heavy users and small businesses by offering this premier package .
Unlimited broadband, though sounds attractive when read literally, however, most unlimited broadband packages would mean that this attribute only applies to usage during non-peak hours, and there is some usage limit during peak hours.
