Virgin Media introduces broadband support service

0

Virgin Media has introduced the new support service for the aid of subscribers who have access to the company’s range of broadband packages. The new scheme, named Digital Home Support Service, is an alternative to the Virgin Media PC Helpline. It will also offer proficient advice on various technical problems other than the usual run of the mill support service that they provide.

The launch of the Digital Home Support Service follows the announcement by Virgin Media, that they plan to put on display their products in new Best Buy electronics stores, which is expected to open across the UK, as of next month.

The team is reported to aid in solving issues that occur in a range of hardware, software and operating systems. They can also help with the usage of remote control technology and thus reduce the need for technician to make house call.

The Executive Director of Broadband at Virgin Media, Jon James claims that “they were looking to introduce the UK’s best value help service as compared to all internet service providers. He goes on to add that the main aim of this service was to help the users to get the maximum out of their pc’s and home devices as well as to help them repair their  exasperating daily problems”.
