Tiscali dissolved into TalkTalk
Tiscali, a provider of Broadband and home phone services was dissolved into TalkTalk Broadband, the leader in telecoms industry. Since acquisition is complete, Tiscali has finally stopped providing services under its name.
Hence today onwards, no one will see a fresh Tiscali package, everything owned under Tiscali are now renamed under TalkTalk. The existing costumers of Tiscali will be pursued to transfer to similar packages from TalkTalk.
TalkTalk, the absorber has promised to provide more reliable, innovative and cost effective packages for the customers. The existing customers of Tiscali will be provided an array of better options to decide from.
Consumers with Tiscali’s broadband only package will be provided an option to migrate to TalkTalk’s broadband and home phone pack with the same amount they have paid for broadband alone, which is £14.99 per month.
TalkTalk communications director, Mark Schmid said that since TalkTalk is a pioneer broadband plus phone service company, they offer the best packages. He added that, if customers wish to carry on with broadband only and don’t need phone service, the charge will slightly rise to £19.99 per month. This is a visible proof for the intention to increase the strength of phone service with broadband; how ever only time can prove whether people will opt for other broadband provider or use TalkTalk’s phone service.
