Good news for TalkTalk Broadband with the addition of new subscribers in the second quarter of the year. A report issued by Carphone Warehouse Group (CWG) stated that TalkTalk had added about 77,000 new subscribers before acquiring Tiscali.

Charles Dunstone, CEO of CWG commented that the company was growing as a result of well trading. He also added that the company’s customer service has turned out to be appealing to the customers. The company expects to rise up from 4.1 million to 4.2 million users within the end of year 2009.

Mr. Dunstone also stated that the company is very much confident in realizing these figures. This news had come just after a study officially declared that UK was lagging behind other countries depending on quality.  Joanne Hughes, communications manager at the company said that the research was conducted for Cisco.

She said that the UK has a large possibility of improving the service and that the country falls within the group of countries having good quality broadband service.
