Roaming Data Costs dropped by Orange
It is refreshing news for the roaming customers of Orange Mobile Broadband that the internet service provider has introduced a fresh roaming data bundle to ensure that going online abroad is cheaper.
Every customer that signs up for the fresh deal would be availed the fresh GBP 2 price for 2MB usage, and would be charged for every day the customer goes online within the limits of the European Union. Nevertheless, those who choose not to sign in for the new deal would be charged the GBP 3 per MB standard out of the bundle rate.
Even though only in France initially, Orange broadband is also introducing a fresh data bundle particularly targeting iPhone consumers. This bundle offers 10MB of data for Euro 5.
Orange global mobile business’s senior executive vice president Olaf Swantee said that the main aim behind the move was that their customers should not be constrained by national fronteers or harried by their bills when they were abroad.
Swantee added that for a good number of their customers who were just starting out on their journey with mobile internet, they wanted to ensure their peace of mind besides creating a simple platform for them to experiment as well as experience mobile broadband and multimedia services whenever and wherever they required those.
