Rise in value for Digital TV, broadband and home phone bundles

0

According to the Mintel, Market research firm there has been a rise in the value of Digital TV, broadband and home phone bundles by 14.8 per cent since past five years.

The new research suggests that the Bundled communications services are becoming valuable to its providers.

In the UK, the bundle sector has a value of £8 billion, added the Market research firm Mintel. In the recent years Digital TV, home phone and broadband bundles have showed significant growth.

In the past five years, the triple-play communications bundles offered by BT, Sky and Virgin Media have grown to 14.8 per cent. However the companies offering these bundle packages cannot benefit from this same level of profits for long period, added Mintel.

It explained that the providers and consumers are linking the value with the price alone and that will pressurize the margins.

Virgin Media, a leading bundle provider provides two months free offer for customers who subscribe their triple-play bundles. The deal is valid till August 31st 2010 and customers should act quickly to benefit from this offer.
