February 3, 2010

TalkTalk, provider of Broadband urges parents of internet using children to keep an eye on them while they use internet and to have a total pre-eminence on internet connection at home.

They advise all the parents to be regular scrutinizers of their children while they are hooked to the internet.

In a survey conducted as a part of the study, TalkTalk discovered that most of the teenagers lie to their parents about what sites they visit.

They also found out that more than half of the students who browse on internet believe they knew more than their parents and they can easily fool their parents. Parents should be wise in dealing with their children, TalkTalk says.

TalkTalk says that just like there are dangers in the real world, there are hazards in the world of internet too. Children have got tendency to move to the unsafe sides of internet usage.

The research emphasizes the need for a better understanding between parents and their children.
