Orange and MGM comes together

0

One of the leading broadband providers Orange has signed a contract with MGM and according to the deal the subscribers of Orange can see classic and present-day MGM films delivered to customers using its video-on-demand service.

Subscribers who choose for an Orange broadband digital television or high-speed internet package from them will be able to access the classic movies. The classics include titles like Casino Royale, Silence of the Lambs and Rocky by means of the 24/24 video facility. Orange customers in France, Spain and Poland can enjoy this benefit and soon the UK subscribers will be getting this benefit.

At present the 24/24 Video has a catalogue of more than 3,000 films accessible for 24-hour rental, with the charges starting at €1 (72p) for selected movies.

Orange launched an initiative in partnership with the British Academy of Film & Television Arts last year that saw aspirant filmmakers submit short films that lasts for a maximum of 60 seconds to a contest that ultimately led to members of the public select their favourite one.
