O2 Broadband offer prospective savings of near £70 to its home phone customers
Customers, who use the home phone bundles offered by O2 Broadband, will get an incentive of about £70.
O2 Broadband, the award winning Service provider, has introduced the new array of bundles, which give users access to Standard 8MB broadband. It also offers O2 mobile users evening and weekend calls as well as line rental from just £17 per month.
It claims that any user, who buys one of these available packages, will get free access to broadband for 3 months. This helps existing mobile customers to save over £50, while non-customers gain £67.50.
In addition, the current O2 broadband customers use line rental and evening and weekend calls, in addition to their present package, having a monthly charge of just £9.50. This is expected to be much beneath the line rental charge of £11.54, by BT Broadband.
Customers also have an option to promote to the anytime calls package, with a line rental cost of nearly £12.50 per month. It includes 0845/0870 numbers and landlines spread worldwide across 20 countries.
Sally Cowdry, the UK Managing Director of O2 said that this was a vital event for them in the UK, as they had found a way into the broadband market there. She adds that they were also looking to go beyond mobile to become the greatest connectivity brand.
She goes on to say, that they had a general idea on the number of their customers, who make the payment together for their home phone and broadband services at no extra cost.. They enjoy this service, hence O2 also had plans to do bring the same kind of quality service to our home phone as we do with our Broadband.
O2 mobile customers will benefit from the huge incentives provided, thus reducing the monthly cost of its Standard package to nearly £7.50, compared to the £12.50 that Non-customers pay.
Customers looking to sell their broadband, in a jiffy can improve to the Premium 20Mb broadband package, at the cost of about £10 per month for O2 mobile customers. The non-customer charge is expected to be around £15 a month.
O2 also provide a high-end Pro package. This can claim speed equal to 20MB, with emphasis on an even better wireless router as well as priority customer support. The Pro Package will cost just £17.50, monthly for existing mobile customers, even as the cost for non- customers would be £22.50 per month.
