Manchester to Receive High-Speed Fibre Broadband Network

North West Development Agency is planning to set super fast fibre broadband network in city of Manchester. The new scheme will provide faster internet service to about 1000 homes and 500 business establishments.

The project which will approximately cost £1m is expected to be followed by other parts of the nation. When more and more business establishments depend on this, the project will find its fund regained automatically. The connection will provide a super-fast speed of 100Mb for both download and upload in some areas of Oxford Road.

Chris Smedley, Chief executive of Geo commented about the project that the plan will change the entire way the city depends on broadband technology. By the implementation of this, business co-operations will find an easier earth to grow. By this innovation, the area can sure involve in some of the advanced technology supported projects. It will also help the students of all homes, online shoppers and those who want online medic help.

The project is about to start this spring and is expected to complete in a year. Geo revealed that they already had discussions with some other organizations to follow the plan in different parts of the country where faster connection is not available now.
