The spokesman of Garlik, a popular industry analyst group commented on how cyber crime has raised the economic slump in the UK. They also said that the present situation has become little bit serious since 2006 and the main reason is the lack of concern from the people at the time of surfing.

Tom Ilube, CEO of Garlik, said that the smugness of the people regarding such issue can be easily understood since people feel that they are being showered with such threats over and over again. At this juncture, people tend to stay unnoticed as they are equipped with acquaintance on protecting them against these online criminals.

He warned the people that they must pay attention to all the warnings issued regarding internet security. “As people are getting more self-satisfied, these fraudsters are getting smarter and smarter”, said Tom Ilube.
