ISPs bid for iPad

0

It has been reported that, high-ranking men from Apple are going to meet the heads of mobile broadband providers in the UK to discuss about the rights of selling the new iPad.

Last time when iPhone got released, industry saw O2 acquiring complete rights to deal the business with smartphones. Anyway, there is no talk about O2 getting the rights to sell iPad.

A report in Sunday Times said that Apple already had elemental discussions with many of the budding ISPs in the UK. Nevertheless, final decision is yet to be taken after a series of conversations, according the reports.

For English Internet Service Providers, working with Apple is somewhat a boon. Apple with its years of expertise has emerged as a winner in manufacturing and providing exceptional products like iPhone, iPod and iPad.

For some reasons, in the discussions with ISPs in the UK, Apple CEO, Steve Jobs will not be showing up though other senior executives from apple are participating.
