Email access hindered due to Pipex upgrades

Few of the Pipex customers felt the ill effect of platform upgrade of the company that intended the setting were wrong. They couldn’t access mail for a number of days which brought their overall work to halt.

The ISP which owned Tiscali said that most of their upgrade billing and account management were on its web sites. Spam protection and anti virus for the email system were other included changes. When most of their customers came with problems  Pipex  has reacted immediately by sending a statement.

Although many of the Pipex customers have been upgraded, the company had to do away with some anomalies as Pipex platform was very old. The extra large mail boxes that was either pulled manually and transposition of other log in details are examples of these. Benefits such as enhanced delivery time and availability of Ironport commercial anti virus and anti spam protection on their email account at free of costs.

The customers were informed duly about this is the status page stressing on the work that carried out. However the chaos were created when the formatting of the email address were changed. This had to be noted in client and web page settings. Pipex Broadband claims that they have restored the web mail. The rest of the upgrade work is expected to be completed by 30 November.
