Digital Music Service through Sky Broadband

1

Good news for all the customers of Sky network. The company has announced that they will provide the customers the facility to legally download songs from the net. With this service Sky customers will be made available with four million tracks.

The service will be launched on October the 19th by offering two monthly subscription packages initially starting at £6.49. All the music lovers can avail ten songs or an album worth £6.49 along with unlimited streaming of tunes from major as well as independent record labels.
The second package is worth £7.99 that includes an album or 15 songs along with the ability of streaming. Customers can also acquire bonus tracks at 65p per track. The users will also receive a free downloadable album by accessing the company site.

Mike Darcey, Chief Operating Officer of Sky said that no other company can attain such expertise or put forward such an outstanding catalogue as their music partners Sony music accomplished, to complement the company’s potency in content distribution.

Sony Music also welcomed the service and claimed that this service would be appealing to all the customers of Sky Broadband. This service was planned after the editor of DailyMusicGuide.com, John Russell recently claimed that Arctic Monkeys was giving away music for free online in order to boost a band’s career.
