Businesses and Homes of Hampshire boosted by BT Upgrade
It has been reported that the businesses and the households of Hampshire would be benefited from access to faster broadband internet services; all thanks to a system upgrade that would be carried out by the leading fixed-line broadband provider operating in the United Kingdom, BT.
As a matter of fact, BT has revealed its plans to upgrade five more of its UK-based telephone exchanges as part of a refurbishment run on its broadband internet infrastructure. This attempt from BT targets providing up to fifty thousand properties in the country with superfast broadband internet service.
The beneficiaries of the refurbishment run of BT in the latest case will be the business firms and residents in Andover, Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Locks Heath and Chandler’s Ford. The news has been reported by the popular Hampshire newspaper Hampshire Business.
According to the claims of Robert Crawford, the spokesman for Saeeda, a developmental agency of the region, the investment has never been as significant before as in the challenging economic climate the prevailed currently.
Crawford further stated that he was convinced that the business firms in the region that had a reputation for enterprise and innovation would be benefiting from the exceptional opportunities offered by the BT exchange upgrade.
One can read it along with another news reported last week that Didcot a small Oxfordshire town was hooked up to the super-fast broadband internet network.
