Today BT and BSkyB have signed the fresh wholesale contract for providing Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 Sports Channels. The BT Vision, broadband based TV service will provide its customers with these new ports channels. All the BT vision subscribers will benefit from these TV channels in the August.

From early July onwards they will take up the sign-ups. The extra premium channels cost is not yet decided and the new cost will be revealed very soon. This new venture is aimed at increasing the uptake of BT’s IPTV products, which is below target now. Besides, it provides a reasonable substitute to adopting Sky.
